Camille Lampers
LPCA
Hello! I am Camille Lampers, a LPCA here at Mindful Mending. Iām excited to be here and hopeful for the opportunity to work with you.
I work with adults, teenagers, and children with trauma, depression, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as intellectual disorders, Autism, and ADHD. I believe that no one has to be defined by their trauma, instead, they can rediscover who they are and define their life beyond their experiences.
My Background and Approach:
I utilize play therapy, DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. As I continue advancing in my career, it is my goal to become certified in EMDR and an RPT, as becoming a trauma informed counselor has always been my goal.
I received my B.A. in Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University. Shortly after, I began working with children with autism by utilizing ABA therapy. While I was completing my masters program at Eastern Michigan University, I worked in a psychiatric hospital, an elementary/middle school, and inpatient rehabilitation centers. All of these different working environments have all provided me with an excellent framework to provide care in a multitude of different environments and cultures as I completed my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I look forward to meeting you!
